Frequently asked
Questions we hear a lot.
Why don't you publish exact prices?
Because we work across industries — a brand identity for a B2B SaaS company has a different scope than the same deliverable for a multi-location healthcare practice. Publishing a single number would either anchor the wrong figure or set us up for an awkward conversation later. We'd rather quote you the right number after one short call.
What's included in a typical retainer?
Retainers are scoped to your goals, not a fixed deliverable list. A typical Growth Engine retainer might include monthly content production, paid campaign management across 1–2 channels, performance reporting, and a quarterly strategy review. Embedded Team retainers add fractional CMO leadership and broader program ownership.
How long are your engagements?
Foundation projects typically run 4–8 weeks. Growth Engine retainers are 6 months minimum — marketing programs need time to compound, and shorter engagements rarely produce meaningful results. Embedded Team partnerships are 12+ months because real strategic leadership requires continuity.
What industries do you work in?
We've led programs across B2B technology, multi-location healthcare, consumer pet care, and hospitality. The skills translate — what matters is finding clients who care about their brand and want a real partner, not a vendor. We're industry-agnostic but particular about fit.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. All project-based work requires a 50% deposit to kick off. Retainers are billed monthly, in advance, with the first month paid at signing.
What happens on the first call?
A 30-minute conversation — no slide deck, no pitch. We learn about your business, what you're trying to accomplish, and where things are right now. By the end, we'll either be excited to send a scoped proposal, or we'll be honest that we're not the right fit and point you toward someone who might be.
Do you work with agencies or only directly with clients?
Both. We've done white-label brand and content work for other agencies who need senior expertise on specific projects. The work standard is the same either way.
